We're also custodians of a Nature Refuge rich in rainforest flora & fauna. Caring for the natural environment goes hand-in-hand with raising our cattle and no farming practice is allowed that may be deleterious to the forest. The use of machinery is kept to a minimum. Weeds are controlled by hand cultivation and pastures are maintained without chemicals and fertilisers.

Ecoinsects as the name suggests aims to foster the use of beneficial insects to manage problems within our agricultural systems. Our core business is the education of landholders and producers on the benefits and management of dung beetles including monitoring and identifying species, fostering populations, supplying and introducing beetles, and managing the impacts of internal and external parasite treatments. Dung Beetles will always be the basis of our business but we are also aiming to branch out into other beneficial insect species.
